We are thrilled to announce publication of The Lie – 40 short stories to make you think, by our 2016 Young Writers. The anthology contains the winning story in last year’s National Short Story Week Young Writer competition, as well as the category winners (year 7/8, girl/boy) and the runners up.
These thought-provoking tales explore the effects of lies in childhood and adulthood; at war and in peace; in countries near and far; in the past, present and future. As always, the young writers are not afraid to address difficult subjects and ideas, and their stories show a remarkable level of maturity of thought and expression.
All of the proceeds from this anthology will be donated to Teenage Cancer Trust.
Please note: the ebook edition is now available, a paperback edition is coming very soon.
